Al Baker Assembly #35 Newsletter April 2022 President's Words ~ Write on Que Hello Compeers,   April is here and the days are definitely getting longer.  I find myself staying at the shop longer, because of the daylight.  I am happy about the rain, I'll take it in this form rather than snow.  We definitely need it.  Dawn and I took a drive through the Catskills and the reservoirs are empty.  So I rather have a rainy spring and a dry summer when it's warm and sunny.  Our next meeting is April 12 at the Milanese restaurant Main Street in Poughkeepsie, 7:30pm, Dinner at 6:00pm open to everyone.   I have been talking with Frank and Joel about our banquet and proposed that we combine Joel's annual picnic with our 80th banquet.  Joel's Barbecue has been such a success that we can't go wrong with combining them.  The plan would be to have it the first weekend in August, hoping to grab a performer in the country coming from FISM the week before.   First up this m
