| Well we got snowed out last month, but hopefully we're back into the nicer weather. Our March meeting is on the 12th, and the topic is Mentalism - come bring your favorite mentalism effects to perform and demonstrate - it can be for both adults and/or kids. Also if you have a work in progress, feel free to bring that along as well. We had a blast at NEMCON, and I picked up some door prizes to raffle off at our meeting. I also went to Vegas for the National Council meeting, meeting Penn and Teller, and hanging out with Losander. I'll give you all the details when I see you. Somehow Nadine was able to reserve the pavilion at Freedom Park on Sunday August 25th, so our BBQ is on! We'll need to figure out if we'll have a special lecturer/performer come in for that. Tickets are now on sale for Michael Carbonaro at the Bardavon on Sunday June 2nd - you can get tickets at bardavon.org. MagicLive is the first week in August (some of us from the club are going) - if you'll be attending, drop me a line. MagicTexas will be held the end of August, and you can find out more at magictexas.com. If you want to have dinner before the meeting, we'll be meeting up around 6 pm, otherwise I'll see you at 7:30 pm.
