S.A.M. Al Baker Assembly #35 Newsletter

Howdy gang! For our November meeting (on Tuesday the 14th) we're going to have a 3-part meeting! First, we head back to one of the oldest magic effects ever - cups and balls. Jackie Reynolds will be teaching basic handlings, and I will be illustrating a two cup routine - if you have a certain handling that you use for C&B, we'd love to see it - and by the way, this includes chop cup routines (remember the amazing lecture from Michael Kaminskas?). Second, we'll be having a Works In Progress if you would like to show something you're working on, and would like to get feedback. Third, it's that time of the year again for our Magic Tag Sale (normally we'd do it in December, but Marc DeSousa is lecturing then). Bring all that stuff that's just sitting around your house and make some holiday moolah! Make sure you have prices on those items you want to sell.
Some upcoming events in November
- Friday the 10th Craig Dickson will be teaching "Cubing for Beginners. See flier below for details.
- Sunday the 12th is SUPER SUNDAY in Bensalem, PA - I know Joe, Frank, and myself are going. It's a great one day convention for only $45, and you can pick up some amazing items at the auction (plus the dealers section).
I'll see you on Tuesday November 14th at 7:30 pm at the Milanese (again, if you want dinner, we'll be getting together around 6 pm).
